Teaching & Workshops

IFCAE can be hired to teach courses and conduct workshops.  Over the years IFCAE staff and consultants have written and taught curricula aimed at university students, government managers and policy makers, scientists, and others.  We are especially interested in participatory learning approaches that build bridges between different groups and that empower learners to also be educators.  For example, IFCAE recently created a manual for land managers and scientists on how to start participatory biological monitoring programs that get volunteers and other nonprofessionals involved in scientific research.  IFCAE offers trainings on participatory inventory and monitoring using the manual as a guiding framework.
