Welcome to the online version of the publication, "Broadening Participation in Biological Monitoring: Guidelines for Scientists and Managers." A printable version is available at the main project homepage. The online version provides for easier navigation using hyperlinks, remote access, and updated additional resources such as case studies and organizations active in participatory monitoring. If this is your first visit we recommend reading the guidelines from beginning to end to understand the layout, content, and how they will best serve your needs. For experienced users the guidelines are intended as a reference tool to help with particular stages of a project. We welcome your feedback on how the Guidelines have helped you and your suggestions for how they can be approved. In addition the Guidelines we have
also developed a corresponding training curriculum for trainers or
educators to create workshops on how to use the Guidelines. The
Institute for Culture and Ecology can be contracted with to organize
workshops in your community or region or for consulting on
participatory monitoring.
